My friend Steve the Italian sent me this link to a You Tube video of Lance Armstrong doing the Alpe D’Huez in 2001, the one with “The Look.” It got my heart rate up so I thought I would share,… enjoy.

Upgraded Blog

Tuesday, January 3rd, 2006

I have just upgraded from Wordpress 1.5 to Wordpress 2.0, so you will notice that the theme (overall look and feel of the site) has changed to the default.  I’m in the process of looking for another one, and seeing if I can get the old one to work.

Help Triathlon Radio get started!

Sunday, December 25th, 2005

I’m sitting here looking at my site, and I need two things. A logo, and a tagline. I’m not even sure if tagline is the right term. But the bit that says, ‘Making the world a better place… One transition at a time’ that is what I am referring to as a tagline. What is actually there, is just the first thing that came to me when I was editing the graphic, so please forgive me for that. :-)
The logo. I’m terrible at graphics. So if you are good at them, I will certainly entertain some proposals. I also need it for the graphic in iTunes and to show up on the iPod, and any other players that display that stuff. (I honestly don’t know which ones do or do not, I only have a Video iPod, the only mp3 player I have every owned, outside of my Palm Tungsten E).

I think I can handle the graphic in the picture. The picture you see here is the one I that came with this theme called Travelogue that I downloaded. I think it looks very nice, and with the roadsign and calender look to it, it has a very triathlon feel. I’m tweaking it a bit, and the picture is part of that.
