Good show topic, just in the nick of time. We were in Richmond, VA for the Xterra race this weekend and my son almost went into heat exhaustion. He was biking, running, and not putting enough fluids in. We caught it in time, but he got flushed, grumpy and thirsty as well as good and tired. We hit the aquatic center, pumped some drinks into him and he was good as new. Speaking of injuries, I got calf cramps in the bike section early on, downed some e-caps and they seemed to help, but it was in the mid 90s temp wise. Hot day.
